The language object allows the translation of applications into different languages. It contains all the GeneXus predefined text, plus other text to be translated.

The following items are necessary to define a Language object.

  • Structure. The language structure consists of attribute names, strings as literals, label names, etc. (all translatable) plus their corresponding translations.
  • Properties. Language properties helps in the definition of the language's behavior relative to the localization of the language.
  • Documentation. A detailed description can be written for the Language to be documented.
