After creating a project with GeneXus Next No-Code Start, it is possible to continue updating the generated Knowledge Base using any IDE, and executing the application in a local environment or preferred cloud.

How to work with the project created with GeneXus Next No-Code Start

Edit with GeneXus Next IDE

Run GeneXus Next Desktop IDE, and  ...

  • Create Knowledge Base from GeneXus Server. For this, you will find the connection details in the Versioning tab of your project in GeneXus No-Code Start.
  • Follow up by editing, committing changes to GeneXus Server, or moving to your GeneXus Server.

Edit with GeneXus IDE (Windows)

To import and execute the application with GeneXus IDE, these requirements apply:

  • Rebuild all and run the app.
  • Follow up by editing, committing changes to GeneXus Server, or moving to your GeneXus Server.
