GeneXus X does not classify Formulas by any specific criteria. They are just "Formulas".
However, in order to understand them better, and by the kind of calculation, attributes and tables that are involved in their definition can be grouped as follows:
- Horizontal Formulas
- Aggregate Formulas (no longer divided into "vertical" and "aggregate/select")
- Compound Formulas
Formulas can be defined at a Knowledge Base level (Global definition), or within an object code (Local definition).
