In this version, GeneXus has been modified. In the Compatibility document you will find a complete list of these modifications. Below, there is a description of the main points to be taken into account:
- Transaction and Work Panel default button names have changed.
As from 7.5 versions, the names of Transactions and Work Panels’ predetermined buttons have been changed (i.e. the previous name for Refresh Event button was btn_refres and now is btn_Refresh). This tool allows changing the name of the objects’ predetermined buttons to keep the compatibility with previous versions in version 7.5 or higher ones. For further information please refer to SAC 11143.
- In GeneXus 7.5 several changes were made in the model preferences and DBMS Options with respect to version 7.0; some of these changes are:
· Change of default values
· New preferences
· New values of preferences
· Elimination of preferences
Important: the changes in the default values of the preferences will cause a change in the behavior of the applications that use them. For this reason, it is recommended to review the section of the XXX generator in the following document Preferences Managment
