A Sequence Flow connector shows the order in which the activities are performed.

There are three types of conectors:

  • Fixed: allows establishing the connection between other diagram symbols. It works like the diagram relation symbol of the use case.
  • Conditional: allows establishing a condition to the connector.
  • Optional: path where the user selects, in runtime, whether he wants to follow it or not..

Below are examples of each one of these symbols:
