Here we will describe the steps needed to configure Google Cloud Messaging for Android (GCM) in order to be able to use Push Notifications in GeneXus generated Android applications.
1. Go to the following link to enable Google services.
2. Select Android App option
3. Pick a name for your application, indicate your Android Package Name, select your country and click on continue button.
4. Add Cloud Messaging option
5. Get your Server API Key and Sender ID and copy them to their respective properties in GeneXus.
- All your Android applications are in Google APIs Console page
- Sender Id is the Project number on IAM & Admin settings section.
- Sender API Key can be found on API Manager credential section.
