Crossing The Chasm , Moore describes a difference between the Generic Product and the Whole Product:
- Generic Product. The product we have to sell.
- Whole Product. The generic product plus all the stuff necessary (accesories, services, etc.) needed to have a 'compelling reason' for buying the product.
Ex: the generic product is Genexus. The whole product can be the training, services, probably a GX KB, etc.
