After you set up a Beacon in some place (in your office, in a shopping, etc) you can give meaning to the region that this Beacon is reaching. You can create a BeaconRegion just asigning an identifier to a Beacon matching pattern (UUID is mandatory, GroupId and Id are optional (0 means any)).
This SDT is defined in order to define a region for BeaconProximityAlerts.
