Now you can run GeneXus on Mac, Windows or Linux! The core of GeneXus has been rewritten in .NET to give birth to this new multiplatform edition of GeneXus.
The UI layer of the GeneXus Next IDE has been completely rewritten on web technologies and you can now experience its Text editors, improved Layout editors, and overall stunning fast performance when executing locally.
Inside the GeneXus Next IDE there are visible AI assistants that help you to model the database (ie. create Transaction objects) and queries (ie. create Query objects), but more important, under the hood it contains a complete and extensible engine that can hold the growing demand of assistants, and chain them correctly.
Last but not least, everything goes through GeneXus Enterprise AI which allows the necessary scaling of the platform and its independence from LLMs, regions, clouds, and cloud providers.
