Object Properties Compatibility in GeneXus X

We have categorized the objects properties changes in the following groups:

General (applied to all object types)

New properties
  • Generate Object.
Property value changes
  • The GeneXus 9.0 Disabled property changed it's name to Disabled warnings, located in the Warning messages group.
  • Disable Warnings: changed its default value from spc0096 to spc0096 spc0107 spc0142.
  • The Functions property changed its name to Standard Functions.
Deleted Properties

Web Panels

New properties
  • Automatic refresh. When a knowledge base is converted, this property is assigned the No value, otherwise the default value is When variables in conditions change.
Deleted Properties
  • Generation Mode.
  • Cancel Key: Not valid property in web environments.
  • Enter Key: Not valid property in web environments.
  • Refresh Key: Not valid property in web environments.
  • Style: Not needed in web environment, use MasterPages.

Procedures and Reports

Property value changes
  • The GeneXus 9.0 Disabled property changed it's name to Disabled warnings, located in the Warning messages group.
  • Report output: changed its default value from Ask User to Only To File.

SDTs

New properties
  • Collection.
  • Collection Item Name.
  • Collection Serialization.
