Allows you to specify -and eventually generate- all application's objects.

The specification options are those set by default in the menu Tools/Preferences/Specify Options

Type

Full Specification: is the normal specification. It generates a specification report and compares it with the last report that was generated to see if the object has experienced changes. If there are no changes, it won't be necessary to generate the program.

Check Specification: This type of specification checks if the program source or tables used by the object have changed. If changes have been detected, then a full specification of the object will be performed.

Force Generation: The force specification does not check if the object or tables used by it have changed, it always specifies and generates the object.

View Last Navigation: Allows you to view the last specification report that was generated. This option avoids having to enter specification times again, since it may consume a lot of time, and it allows you to analyze a program which has been specified by another user.

Other options

Detailed Navigation: You may whether you want to make use of a detailed navigation (only for transactions).

Specify&Generate: You want to automatically generate the programs after the specification.
