This document classifies the GeneXus 9.0 features according to their cost and benefit in an existing knowledge base.
Implicit features are those that don't require any intervention from the developer (or require only configuring a model property). Explicit features are those that require the intervention of the developer.
In addition, a feature will offer a Direct benefit when it is visible in the final solution provided to the customer. On the other hand, an Indirect benefit is an improvement to the development/productivity environment.
