This document explains how to access and view logs in GeneXus Next running on Rancher/Windows. (Rancher V 1.18.2)
GeneXus Next running on Rancher/Windows lacks a method to access and interpret logs, which are essential for debugging issues within the IDE. To solve this limitation, you can install the Log Explorer Extension. This extension provides a user-friendly interface to access logs, allowing you to filter them by container. Additionally, you can select multiple containers to view a unified log, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the system's behavior.
Note: The first letter of the container name is missing ("enexus" instead of "Genexus"), but it's a minor issue.
To obtain the log via command line execute: docker logs genexus-gxms-1
