By clicking on Tools in Globant Enterprise AI Lab, you access the Tools Dashboard, where you can view and manage all the Tools available in your project.
Each tool is displayed as a card that includes its name, a short description, and—if it hasn't been published yet—a Draft label in the top right corner. When the tool is already published, no label is shown.
If you need more information about a specific tool, you can click anywhere on the card to open a detail panel on the right side of the screen. This panel provides extended information such as its complete description, associated project, visibility, and version.
For each Tool displayed there is an Edit button. By clicking on this button, a new tab opens immediately where you can continue working on that Tool. The full name of the Tool appears at the top of this new tab, followed by its publication status (Published or Draft).
By default, this new tab includes two other tabs:
- Configuration: Contains the editable structure of the tool.
- JSON: Shows the underlying JSON configuration for the tool, which is automatically updated as you complete each section in the Configuration tab.
When you return to the Tools Dashboard, for each Tool displayed as a card there is a More Options menu. This menu lets you perform additional actions, such as Delete tool, which permanently removes the Tool from the dashboard.
In the upper-right corner of the screen, there is a + New Tool button. Clicking on this button opens a blank editing tab so you can start configuring a new Tool from scratch.
