Search for the application in the TRASH grid of the MyCloudApps application, select it and execute the restore icon
In the active applications Grid, select the application to be deleted, and press the recycle bin icon
This will take the application to the TRASH grid, to be physically deleted the next day.
The applications that a user flags for deletion are physically deleted the day after the flagging.
Applications flagged for deletion due to inactivity will be automatically deleted pursuant to the Terms and Conditions of use of the GeneXus Cloud.
No F5s are allowed to the cloud when the Terms and Conditions have not been subscribed. To subscribe them, you must go to the MyCloudApps applications and then you will be enabled to do F5.
Upon detecting that no F5s have been done in a 60-day period, GeneXus will consider the application as not being used for prototyping, and flag it as inactive. It is then physically deleted after 15 days. During the 15-day period, the user may restore it by doing an F5 from GeneXus, or through the MyCloudApps application, thus returning the application to the “active” status. If the user has not restored the application during the 15-day period, it is physically deleted from the server.
Once the application has been physically deleted from the server, it is no longer possible to recover the database. The only applications that may be recovered are those still in the TRASH because they have not been physically deleted yet. This may be done with the restore icon
When the application was flagged for deletion by the user, it is deleted the next day. Therefore, it may be restored up to 00:00 hours of the following day.
When the application was flagged for deletion due to inactivity, it is deleted 15 days after the flagging date. Users may restore the application during that 15-day period.
The periods for deletion are informed for each application on the TRASH grid of MyCloudApps
The date of validity of the application depends on the time at which it was flagged for deletion. If it was deleted by the user, then it will remain active until the following day. Applications deleted due to inactivity will remain active for a period of 15 days following the date on which it was flagged for deletion.
The applications that were flagged for deletion. The applications that may appear on that grid are those considered “inactive”, or the applications for which the user decided their deletion.
When GeneXus detects the absence of an F5 in the last 60 days, the application is considered as not in use for prototyping. Therefore, it is flagged as inactive and if the user fails to restore it, it is deleted 15 days after. The application is shown on the TRASH grid of MyCloudApps.
It represents the physical elimination of the application from the server of the virtual directory, from the database and from the database user.
You must go to the MyCloudApps application, where, at the start, you will be requested to subscribe the Terms and Conditions of use of the GeneXus Cloud. Once subscribed, you will be allowed to use the cloud without limitations.
