Object Properties changes in GeneXus 9.0

Introduction

We have grouped the objects properties changes in the following groups:
  • General
  • Procedures and Reports
  • Transactions
  • Web Panels and Web Transactions
  • SDTs
  • Attributes

General (applied to all object types)


New properties:
Property Comment
OptimizeFindNavigation more information
Disabled Now available at object level.


Property name changes:
Property New name Comment
Execute in new UTL Execute in new LUW
Based on style Style
Disabled Disabled warnings Located in Warning messages group
As errors Warnings treated as errors Located in Warning messages group


Procedures and Reports


New properties:

Expose as Enterprise Java Beans more information

Property value changes:

Call protocol Enterprise Java Beans Value added

Property name changes:
Property New name Comment
SOAP namespace Exposed namespace Displayed when the object is Main and is used with Call protocol = SOAP.

Other considerations:
  • The Location Property does not apply if Call Protocol = Enterprise Java Bean.
  • The following property group is added when Enterprise Java Beans are used.

Web Panels and Web Transactions


New properties:

URL access more information
Master Page more information

Property name changes:
Property New name Comment
Web component Type The Yes and No Web component values were changed to Web Component and Web Page. It also added the Master Page value.

Other considerations:
Main Program does not apply to objects with Type = Master Page

SDTs


Property name changes:

Attributes and Data Types Properties
