Programs Library Name Property

Official Content
This documentation is valid for:

To define the name of the library where the programs will reside.

Two automatically generated libraries are required by the iSeries environment.
One of the libraries contains the DATA LIBRARY database, and the other all PROGRAMS LIBRARY programs.

This library will contain your application's programs (source and object).  GeneXus will only place in this library the application's programs and display files.

The library's default name is GXDBnnn., where nnn represents the number of the Knowledge Base Model. This number is serially generated for each new model. This is valid for both Prototype and Production environments, and the numbering is independent for each of them.

It is strongly recommended that the Library be named, otherwise you may loose the Programs library when creating a Programs library for a Model with the same number as another Knowledge Base.
