When you define an External Object containing one or more Type nodes, you can specify a list of valid data types for each Type. This list, separated by commas, indicates the data types you can use when defining an External Object type variable.
This property applies only at runtime.
Suppose you define an External Object called GenericDictionary with the structure shown in the following image:
As you can see in the image below, the valid values for TypeKey have been set to VarChar, Numeric, Boolean, and Character.
No action is required to apply the corresponding changes when the property value is configured.
