This chapter describes the steps to install GeneXus Server X Evolution 1. Note that you must have Administrator rights to execute the installation.

Before the installation, check the GeneXus Server Requirements. Please, make sure your computer matches them and then run the setup program that will guide you through the rest of the installation.

Setting up what Knowledge Bases to serve

To host Knowledge Bases in GeneXus Server you can use any of the following procedures:

Set up what Knowledge Bases to serve manually in the GeneXus Server machine.
Use the Send Knowledge Base to Server command within the GeneXus IDE or the associated Team Development MSBuild Tasks.
