Overview

General

• Improvements for Deep Linking
• UI of Query Viewer control can be customized via Themes
• Several improvements in IDE's stability
• Maximum concurrent generation and specification instances are two times the number of logical or virtual processors of the computer.
• When using External Storage (see Storage Provider property),
  • multimedia files do not use the local file system for intermediate storage. 
  • Excel files by default use external (private) storage
  • Storage Provider API supports handling private files in Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure cloud storage providers.

Smart Devices

• Support for iOS 11 and Swift 4 (More information at SAC 42342)
• Improved default UI (Carmine) for GAM Objects (Login, Register, etc)
• New WebBrowser external object for managing links in embedded web pages
• Show Traffic property added to Maps Control Type to show traffic on maps
• PickLocation Method added to Geolocation external object to simplify UX of 'find my car' scenario.

Security

• Several important security improvements have been added too. Also, improved log information for HTTP 403 error analysis

Team Development

• Update to a specific Revision

Software Requirement Changes

• XCode 9 is required. Refer to Apple Requirements for detailed information and check Compatibility section.
• Some Android Requirements changed

Compatibility

• Create Offline Database followed by Rebuild All of the Main object must be made for offline iOS applications due to the Swift 4 requirement. Please report any related issue to support.
