Modules - URL SyntaxOfficial Content

The purpose of this document is to explain how URLs are modified when using modules.

Objects under the Root module will not be affected. On the other hand, objects within a Module object will follow the rules below:

  • Objects will be called using the Module path.
  • For rest services the backslash - '\' - is used instead of a period - '.'.


Consider "ObjectC" in module "ModuleC" from the following image:

Note:  When using modules and generating for Java the Java package name property must be set; in this example it was supposed to be set with the value: "packagename".
