Overview

GeneXus X Evolution 3 Upgrade 5 improves Web accessibility, query performance, and includes iOS 9 specific features and In-app Billing in Android, between other improvements and bug fixes.

iOS

• XCode 7.x support added (and required) in order to add iOS 9 specific features
• New Properties: Application Queries Schemes property, App Transport Security property group

Android

• In-app purchases support updated in order to support Google In-app Billing v3

Reporting

• GXquery: for Pivot tables queries, Server paging is the default option.
• Query Viewer: Debug services changed. More more information at: SAC#38485 and SAC#38484

Web

• A way to convert HTML forms to abstract forms is introduced. See Convert to Abstract Layout menu option.
• Changes are made to the generated HTML to improve accessibility support.

Compatibility Notes for X Evolution 3 Upgrade 4 Users

• iOS:
  • XCode 7.x is required.
  • Depending the protocols the app uses to access services, you may need to configure App Transport Security property group
• Method GetPurchasedProducts() of StoreAPI external object has been deprecated and GetPurchases() has to be used instead.
