HowTo: Edit a project created with GeneXus Next Start

After creating a project with GeneXus Next Start, it is possible to continue updating the generated Knowledge Base using GeneXus Next or GeneXus, and executing the application in a local environment or preferred cloud.

Edit with GeneXus Next

HowTo: Install and run GeneXus Next on your desktop, and  ...

• Create Knowledge Base from GeneXus Server. For this, you will find the connection details in the Versioning tab of your project in GeneXus Start.
• Follow up by editing, committing changes to GeneXus Server, or moving to your GeneXus Server.

Edit with GeneXus (Windows)

To import and execute the application with GeneXus, these requirements apply:

• Install GeneXus 18 (GeneXus 18 Upgrade 6 or higher).
• Depending on the chosen look & feel (WorkWithPlus, K2B Tools or SAP Fiori), some extra installation is required.

Run GeneXus and ...

• Create Knowledge Base from GeneXus Server. For this, you will find the connection details in the Versioning tab of your project in GeneXus Start.
• Rebuild all and run the app.
• Follow up by editing, committing changes to GeneXus Server, or moving to your GeneXus Server.
