ClickByID

Goal: To click an HTML element using the control's ID.

Parameters:

  • ID: the HTML element ID to click.

Example of use:

&driver.ClickById("BTN1")

ClickByLinkText

Goal: To click a link using its text.

Parameters:

  • LinkText: the link text to click.

Example of use: 

&driver.ClickByLinkText("click here:")

ClickByName

Goal: To click a certain HTML element using the its 'name' attribute.

Parameters:

  • Name: the NAME attribute of the control to click. 

Example of use: 

&driver.ClickByName("BTN2")

ClickByCSS

Goal: To click an HTML element using a CSS selector.

Parameters:

  • CSS: the CSS selector to the element that you want to click. 

Example of use: 

&driver.ClickByCSS("#button1")

ClickByXPath

  • XPath: the XPath selector to the element that wants to be clicked.

DoubleClickByID

  • ID: the HTML element ID to double click.

DoubleClickByName
