This article is an overview of GXquery 4.0 Upgrade 10 improvements and what needs to be taken into account to adopt it.
It has been released on April 27th, 2021.
The Upgrade 10 (build #733) is an overall technology update based on GeneXus 17 version.

- A completely new installation is required if using GXquery 4.0 Upgrade 8 or lower versions, otherwise you can update an existing GXquery 4.0 Upgrade 9 installation. If you choose not to install a new instance while working on GXquery 4.0 Upgrade 8 or lower versions, you will be greeted with the following error message : "Unable to update this instance of GXquery because the data base structure of this instance is incompatible with the version of GXquery you are installing. Yo must install a new instance of GXquery 4.0"
Note: To keep using GXquery 4.0 Upgrade 8 or prior installations for a period of time, you must ask for extra temporary licenses sending an email to keys@genexus.com.
