  • This documentation is valid for:

Represents the flow of a business process that occurs in real life.

The process modeler used in the GeneXus IDE is the same as the one used in the Business Process Modeler. To model correctly it is necessary to have some knowledge about BPMN.

Description

A Business Process Diagram object has several sections that can be defined, for example:

  • Diagram: It allows you to draw the Business Process. To do it, you can drag and drop the objects (such as Web Panels) or you can use the Toolbox.
  • Documentation: This section allows the addition of descriptions and notes about the Business Process. Read more at Documentation tab.
  • Source: This section displays the definition process at a code level.

It also has a Properties Editor, to set up general aspects of the object.

Business Process Diagram Tasks

BPD Tasks represent atomic units of work done as part of a Business Process. You can drag and drop a Task from the Toolbox.

There are several types of Tasks. Read more at BPD Tasks.
